Administrative Highlights

Professional Science Master’s Program -  Executive Director, 2009-present:

  • Secured government funding for new graduate program (~$1.5M)
  • Wrote and shepherded program proposal through university and state approval process (6 levels of approval)
  • Collaborated with 10 different schools on 3 campuses connecting with faculty and administration
  • Created over 25 different professionally-focused (workforce related) science curricula, including interdisciplinary concentrations in Life Sciences, Engineering, and Computer and Information Sciences
  • Expanded program to over 300 students
  • Managed all aspects of program development: industrial advisory board, industrial outreach and placement, financial budgeting, faculty committees, admissions, recruitment, web marketing, program coordination, and international collaborations
  • Developed online courses and programs
  • Developed international relationships, recruitments,  and joint initiatives
  • Grew program to one of the largest and most recognized PSM programs in the country
